This page will be dedicated to the news and development of the new ministry "The Way". The Way is the name for the new Skateboard ministry that the Men's Ministry will sponsor. More to come SOON!

7-06-2009

The Men's Ministry will be responsible for developing and maintaining a ministry to "young" men in our city. This will be accomplished via a skateboard arena to be built on our church property. The ministry needs and status will be reported here frequently as we ramp up this new ministry. The Men's breakfast scheduled for July 11th will be dedicated to this ministry's kickoff. The VCUMC Evangelism Team will be raising funds and coordinating construction.

9-23-2009

The Way ministry Team will consist of a Spiritual Leader, an Activities Leader and a team of Activities Support and Coordinators. We will be actively recruiting these individuals as the skate park ministry begins to unfold this fall. The job descriptions and responsibilities will be posted here as soon as they are finalized.
